Johannes Holmberg, CEO of Calejo, attended Dagens Industri’s conference Industry & Future. Here, the pace of Swedish industry’s AI maturity was taken and Calejo was highlighted as one of several successful examples of practical industrial AI application.
Sweden as an industrialized country has proud traditions but with the whole world as a playing field, but with the digital revolution, old truths change. Sweden has the potential to be a strong industrial nation in the future, but what is the status right now? Who will be the keys to being a force to be reckoned with in the future?
The questions the Dagens Industris conference Industry & Future tried to answer on November 6, 2019, where about 150 new thinkers, power holders and representatives of Sweden’s heaviest industrial companies gathered for a full day of debate and strategic discussions at the highest level.
Leading representatives attended Among the speakers were Investor’s Chairman Jakob Wallenberg, Minister of Industry Ibrahim Baylan, Swedish Institute Director General Madeleine Sjöstedt, Vattenfall’s Strategic Director Andreas Regnell, SKF’s CTO Victoria van Camp, AI professors Jan Gulleksen, KTH, and Amy Loutfi, Örebro University, and leading representatives from Ericsson, Siemens, ABB, Microsoft and Google.
Also participating was Johannes Holmberg, CEO of Calejo Industrial Intelligence, who presented Calejo’s unique AI solution for gray box modeling of industry processes. A lecture that was much appreciated by the audience as a successful example of actual practical application of AI in industry.
